GlobalCollect is currently expanding its Facility Management department from 1 to 2 employees. The Facility Management team is responsible for the facility management for more than 260 employees. Whereas GlobalCollect is growing fast, there are many challenges and innovation opportunities. The facility employee will be operating in a very dynamic and international environment. Purpose of the role

The facility employee is responsible for ensuring that the organisation has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities. The facility employee is involved in hands-on day-to-day operations, but will also play a role in strategic planning.

The areas of responsibilities include:

• procurement and contract management

• building and grounds maintenance

• space management (floor planning & internal moves)

• catering, vending and cleaning

• health and safety

• security and reception

• utilities

The facility employee is responsible for hands-on activities such as moving furniture and doing small repairs. Thereby he/she ensures a save, clean and healthy work environment for all employees. Moreover, he/she is responsible for contract management, supervision and contact with service suppliers. This role offers the opportunity to act in an international environment, participate in projects, to grow with the company and take up more responsibilities in the near future.

Deliverables / Tasks

• Directing and planning essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling;

• Supervising and coordinating work of contractors

• Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies

• Planning best allocation and utilisation of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organising current premises

• Inspecting premises on deficiancies (e.g. dirt, damage, leakage, accesibility)

• Moving and adjusting furniture and executing small repairs

• Checking stock and ordering supplies when necessary

• Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise

• Organization of weekly company drink

Experience

• Approximately 2 years experience in a (Jr.) Facility Management role

Other significant role requirements

• Bachelor degree in facility management

• Knowledge of security regulations

• Fluency in Dutch

• Fulltime employment (40 hours per week)

• Being flexible and reachable in case of emergencies outside working hours

Technical Knowledge

• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
